1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the Kinara mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Kinara Ltd.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account and use Kinara. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. Users between 13 and 17 may only use the App under parental supervision as required by applicable law.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Maintain and promptly update your account information to keep it accurate.
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials.
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. App Usage & Conduct

Kinara provides a gamified educational platform including Solo Practice, Live Battles, leaderboards, and study tools. You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulations.
• Cheat, exploit bugs, or use third-party tools to manipulate scores, streaks, or leaderboard rankings.
• Harass, bully, or intimidate other users during Live Battles or in any interactive feature.
• Create multiple accounts to gain unfair advantages in leaderboards or battles.
• Share, sell, or distribute quiz content, answers, or proprietary educational material from the App.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App's source code or infrastructure.

5. Live Battles & Competitive Features

Live Battles are real-time competitive quiz sessions between users. By participating, you acknowledge that:

• Matchmaking is automated and based on skill level; outcomes may vary.
• Network disruptions may affect battle outcomes; we are not liable for connection issues.
• Leaderboard rankings are final as calculated by our systems and may not be contested.
• We reserve the right to disqualify users found cheating or manipulating results.

6. Passes & Payments

Kinara offers access passes (such as daily, weekly, or monthly passes) that grant access to premium features for a fixed duration. By purchasing a pass:

• You authorize a one-time charge for the selected pass at the then-current price. Passes do not auto-renew and will expire automatically at the end of the specified duration unless manually repurchased.
• Refunds are handled per the respective store's refund policy; Kinara does not issue direct refunds.
• We reserve the right to modify pricing for future pass purchases with 30 days' prior notice.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, logos, graphics, and software associated with Kinara are the exclusive property of Kinara Ltd. and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without written consent.
• Use Kinara branding, logos, or trademarks without prior authorization.
• Reproduce, publish, or sell any educational content accessed through the App.

8. Privacy & Data

Your use of Kinara is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. By using the App, you consent to the data practices described therein.

9. Disclaimers

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee:

• That the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times.
• That educational content is always accurate or complete; users should verify critical information independently.
• Any specific results from using the App, including improved academic performance.

10. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may also delete your account at any time by following the instructions on our Delete Account page. Upon termination:

• All accumulated XP, streaks, leaderboard positions, and rewards will be permanently lost.
• We will delete your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify you of significant changes via App notification or email at least 15 days before they take effect.

12. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved first through good-faith negotiation, and if unresolved, submitted to the competent courts of Tanzania.
